This Clear Semi-Rigid Tube protects flexible endoscope shanks from costly damages while enhancing patient and staff safety by containing bio-hazard materials.

One end has an integral molded funnel for quick and effortless introduction of the flexible scope into the protector tube. The other end of the tube is sealed to contain all liquids and contamination.

The tube conveniently snaps onto the side of a DAVI SmartKart just below the left side "Working Scope Holder". While on the cart before use, the interior of the tube is protected from contamination and dust by an easily removed peel-pack seal.

During a case the scope can be withdrawn from the patient and safely parked in the ProShield tube. The scope is protected from mechanical damage and is shielded from stray contamination so it can be safely re-introduced into the patient if necessary.

After a case, the ProShield tube is securely held onto the scope, providing a safe & secure enclosure for the delicate scope shank. This prevents costly damage and the spreading of infectious material during scope transportation to your cleaning/re-processing facility.

Use Instructions:

1. Snap the ProShield into DAVI cart working scope shield brackets (Front Left Side) . The Peel Pack Cover stays in place while unused tube is on the cart.
   
   
2. During Case:
   
   1. A. Open Peel Pack, Insert Working Scope into ProShield, then clip Scope Handle into holder.
   2. Protection from Cross-Contamination allows re-introduction of scope into patient if needed.
   3. Fill tube with approximately 200 to 250 mL of rinse solution if desired.
      
      
3. After Case:
   
   1. Remove Scope Handle from Scope Holder Clips & push scope body into mouth of Pro-Shield.
   2. Stretch Rubber Band up and loop it over the top of the Scope Handle/Eyepiece.
   3. Unclip the ProShield from the cart, first at bottom then at top.
      
      
4. The ProShield stays on the Scope during transit to your Cleaning / Reprocessing Facility, preventing damage & spread of infectious diseases.
